The LADIS is used for rapid distance measurements with integrated inclination sensor for the determination of height differences, object heights and inclination angles.

Reflectorless distance measurements are possible as well as measurements with reflector or reflection foil. Accuracy of the distance measurement: 3-5 cm, range of passive distance measurement depending on the instrument type and brightness of the target and the meteorological conditions up to 500 m (LADIS LR), inclination limits +/- 90°, RS 232 interface.
