The SIMES is used for measuring limited angles of field of view in motor vehicles of all kind. The SIMES has been designed in cooperation with the Technical Inspection Services of the FRG (TÜV Rheinland). The visible laser beam of the instrument in conjunction with adapted beam splitters allow to check whether the existing standards (e.g. ISO) are observed. He-Ne Laser output: 0,5 mW
