|Laser distance measurement equipment LD 1000|
The new laser distance measuring instrument LD 1000 is a compact and lightweight measuring instrument for the determination of distances, reduced distances, height differences and height of trees.
The laser distance measuring instrument LD 1000 uses an eye-safe laser diode for the distance measurements. By means of the time of transit of the laser impulses, the distance is determined. Either passive distance measurements, i.e. reflectorless measurements or measurements on reflectors and reflection foils are possible. The integrated tilt sensor determines the tilt angle with each distance measurement. Based on the tilt angle and the inclined distance the reduced distance and height differences to the measuring point are calculated and digitally displayed.
For the determination of tree heights there is a separate programme available. From any position a distance measurement is effected to the tree stem and afterwards the inclination angles to the tree foot and to the top of the tree are measured. The integrated calculator calculated the tree height. All measuring results – projected at the telescope optics - can easily be read and transferred to a PC or data logger via a data interface.
